CIT Connect provides support to enhance the education of law enforcement officers through financial and technical assistance for the operation of the CIT Academy, materials for attending officers, recruiting and organizing volunteers for role-plays and site visits, and communicating with and coordinating partnering agencies for the relief of distressed individuals. CIT Connect founders teach at the CIT Academy as well as secure experts to volunteer time to teach. Funds to support the Academy are raised through monetary and in-kind donations from individuals and agencies.
